DDJAY Plots in Haryana: Buyer Guide & Due-Diligence Checklist

Plotted development • Haryana • DDJAY research

What should a buyer understand about DDJAY?

DDJAY is a Haryana policy framework associated with plotted residential development. For a buyer, the important point is not the label alone—it is whether the specific colony/project has the required licence, sanctioned layout, RERA status where applicable, land/title support and development approvals.

Buyer checklist

  1. Identify the exact project/colony and promoter.
  2. Check the applicable licence and planning authority records.
  3. Check the sanctioned layout and your exact plot.
  4. Check RERA registration/status where applicable.
  5. Review title/encumbrance documents.
  6. Understand EDC/IDC and all other charges.
  7. Check development and possession status.
  8. Confirm registry/conveyance process before paying a large amount.

DDJAY is not a substitute for due diligence

A policy/project category does not by itself guarantee appreciation, title, immediate registry, construction permission or infrastructure completion. Always verify the individual project.
