Freehold vs Leasehold Property | Noida, Greater Noida & Haryana

Ownership structure • lease tenure • buyer checks

First: do not assume “99 years”

For this guide, we verified official/current records showing 90-year lease terms in examples involving Noida Authority and Greater Noida Authority land. Therefore this website will not make a blanket “99-year lease” claim.

Noida / Greater Noida vs Haryana

Current official records reviewed for Noida and Greater Noida show 90-year leasehold examples. Haryana is not one single tenure category: the buyer must identify the authority/project and read the allotment, conveyance or lease documents. HSVP publishes residential-plot and sale-deed related material, but that does not make every Haryana plot automatically freehold.
